Activities

Character development through the teaching of virtues is an important part of student growth at Jarvie School. 

As part of our Virtues Program we have nomination forms, where staff and students can recognize others who show character traits such as trustworthiness, caring, respect, responsibility, fairness and citizenship.  Each time a student is recognized for exemplifying one of these traits, they are given a "leaf" on the "virtue tree" that is painted in the entry way of our school.

At the end of every month, staff choose the "Students of the Month" based on the virtues they have modelled, their sportsmanship in student activities and their diligence in their school work.

Congratulations to those students who have received "Student of the Month" honors throughout the school year!
