The students had a great Halloween Party! It started with a potluck lunch, followed by Costume Contests, Magazine Money Draws, a Haunted House, Balloon Games, and finally a Dance at the end of the afternoon! (view photos)

Every September all of the Jarvie students head out to the Westlock Golf Course to participate in the annual PHRD Cross Country Run. (view photos)

March 23rd marked the day of the 5th Annual Alanna Heffel Memorial Dodgeball
Tournament at Jarvie School. This tournament originated 5 years ago when the Jarvie Student Council wanted to do something to honour their friend and classmate, Alanna, who had passed away from cancer. They came up with the idea of a Dodgeball Tournament, with funds raised through the tournament going towards the Northern Alberta Make-A-Wish Foundation. Over the 5 years of the tournament, students have raised in excess of $15,000 towards this cause. This year we had 40 students participating (from both Jarvie and W.R.Frose) and they raised $4000 for Make-A-Wish! (view photos)

Student Council organized some special activities for St. Patrick's Day this year. Of course, everyone had to wear green, but on top of that there was a potluck lunch and a good old jello-eating contest. Good news -- the students raised $225 through the potluck lunch, with funds raised going towards Student Council activities. (view photos)

The Grade 7 & 8 students from Jarvie and W.R. Frose joined together for a day of outdoor fun at Long Island Lake. There was skating, curling, ice-fishing and lots & lots of hot chocolate and marshmallows! (view photos)
